How long does it take for an application to be approved?

An application can take anywhere from 1-3 business days for final approval.

Do I have to make an appointment or do you accept walk-ins to tour Coeval?

Although we do accept walk-ins, we always recommend making an appointment to ensure we have the time blocked off to prioritize your tour.

What amenities does Coeval offer?

Coeval offers many amenities including a 24/7 fitness center with weekly yoga classes, a rooftop lounge with a terrace and skyline views, a chef’s kitchen and lounge with a pool table, a beautifully landscaped Zen garden with fire pits, grills, sunbeds, and dining areas, a dog run and spa, and 24/7 concierge. We also host frequent resident events.

Is there public transportation near Coeval apartments?

We are closest to the Roosevelt train station (orange, green, and red lines). We also have multiple bus stops within walking distance of Coeval.

Do I have to be present for a service technician to perform work?

No, you do not have to be present while our team is completing a service request. You can set your preferences while placing the work order.

What happens if I am locked out of my apartment?

You can check in with the concierge or management office to be let into your apartment. There is no charge for a lockout, but there is a fee to replace your keys if you lose them.

What appliances are standard in every apartment?

Every apartment comes with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, garbage disposal, and refrigerator.

Which provider can I use for Internet & cable?

A basic internet package is complimentary through Zentro. DirecTV is available for cable if desired.

If my situation changes, can I break my lease?

Yes, you can break your lease but there is a penalty. We require 30 days’ notice along with a two-month lease break fee plus payback of any concessions you may have received. You can also sublet your apartment. Please contact management directly for more details on sublets and lease breaks.

How do I set up my utilities?

You’ll need to set up your electricity with ComEd before moving in. All other utilities are included in our utility bundle fee.

What school district is Coeval apartments in?

South Loop School District 299. Coeval is walking distance to both South Loop Elementary and Middle Schools.

Does Coeval offer furnished apartments?

No, Coeval does not offer any furnished apartments.

Do you offer tours of Coeval?

Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual tours.

Does Coeval offer a referral bonus if I refer one of my friends?

Yes, Coeval has a dog run and pet spa.

What is Coeval’s renter’s insurance policy?

At Coeval, renter’s insurance is a requirement. We require $100,000 personal liability and to be listed as an interested party.

We will welcome you home to a freshly painted and professionally cleaned home.

Mariano’s, Jewel, and Trader Joes are all within walking distance of Coeval. Whole Foods and Target are also nearby, along with a multitude of other shopping options including Marshall’s, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, and lots more!

Am I allowed to decorate the apartment in Coeval without penalty?

Yes, you can absolutely decorate your Coeval apartment! We simply ask that you patch any holes larger than a dime to avoid fees at move-out.

How can I submit a maintenance request for my Chicago apartment?

All maintenance requests can be submitted through our resident app, online, or by calling our management office.

Are there any monthly fees for an apartment at Coeval?

Yes, all apartments have a utility package fee. If you have a pet, there is monthly pet rent of $30.

Are utilities included at Coeval apartments?

All residents are responsible for paying their electricity and utility package.

How do I pay my rent online for Coeval?

You can pay rent online through our property website, www.coevalchicago.com, on the resident app, or by dropping off certified funds with our management office.
